A top day on the north side of Etna at an altitude of 2900 meters where no other means can arrive. This exclusive experience is possible thanks to the use of the Unimog-Mercedes “Tommasini style”, top of the range of the standards necessary to go to the most extreme places and equipped with every comfort. The excursion starts from Piano Provenzana at an altitude of 1800 meters. From there, the alpine/volcano guide will organize the ascent in an off-road vehicle to admire the active craters at an altitude of approximately 2900 meters. Along the path, there are many stops to admire the craters formed by ancient and recent eruptions, always helped by your guide. Once we reach an altitude of 2,900 meters, we will take a short walk to get a closer look at Europe’s largest active volcano. The return to an altitude of 1800 m. (Piano Provenzana) is scheduled after approximately 2 hours and a half.
