Pick up in the morning at your hotel and drive along the south side of our Volcano, till 1,900 mt. (Craters Silvestri / Rifugio Sapienza): once there you’ll have time on your own for visiting the lunar landscape or taking the cable car + special jeeps to the ascent of the smoky craters at ca. 2,900 mt. (cable car + jeeps not included in the price = ca. EUR 65.00 p.p.). At the end of the visit, we can suggest you where to have lunch (not included in the price). After that, we will reach the Alcantara Gorges, famous worldwide for the particular form of the volcanic stone due to the erosion of the river Alcantara. Here you have some free time to visit the botanical garden and take the lift to the stream (entrance fee for garden + lift = ca. EUR 13.00 p.p.). Return to the hotel in the afternoon.
