Day cruise to the Aeolian Islands
from Cefalù and Palermo

From Palermo and Cefalù, lovely places in Sicily, the Aeolian Islands are not seen, but are certainly some of the best things you want to do. Then we arranged for the departure from the port of Cefalù of the new Jeanneau Leader 40, a day cruiser of over 12 meters (40th). Boarding from Cefalù is a great balance of time and distance to make the most of the time of a daily boat trip to the islands. From Palermo, it’s easy to reach in about an hour by highway, then leave and get to the nearest island, Alicudi, in about 1:40′ of cruising. A lot faster and more comfortable than sailing, which would take twice as long in a single direction. Relax completely and reserve with us also the land transfer from the location of your accommodation. For those who want to get to Panarea or Stromboli, especially to see the sunset show of the “Sciare del Fuoco”, we recommend boarding from “Marina di Portorosa”.

Alicudi – Filicudi

Alicudi And Filicudi, the wildests and most distant of the Aeolian Islands. Our trip begins with the departure from the port of Cefalù at 9:00am and traveling at a cruising speed of about 23 knots after 1:40 ‘we will arrive in Filicudi. From the island you can admire the jagged coasts, the caves, among which the most famous is that of the “Bue Marino”, stacks and very suggestive inlets. The “Grotta del Bue” is undoubtedly the most beautiful cave on the island of Filicudi which is located near “Punta Perciato”, and inside the cave you can admire the play of light in the water and particularly suggestive noises. After about 40 minutes we set sail for the island of Alicudi, during the boat trip good music and refreshing snacks. Once in Alicudi we disembark for lunch in one of the island’s seaside restaurants and take a nice walk through the narrow streets of Alicudi. Inebriated by this experience, happy for having chosen this excursion by the sea, we will leave for Cefalù at 4:00 pm.
